A few pale roses and some colorful fruit, little is needed to inspire a painter. Pastel flowers in a sombre green vase. Dark grapes, yellow bananas and green pears in a white fruit dish, a sky-blue wall and a land-colored table. Max-Agostini recreated here and "interior" landscape rather than a "still"life.
In an open space, pieces of a simple life are posted along the "roads" of a composition, all leading to Home.
The whites are reflecting the colors they inherited by osmosis. The fruit ask to be eaten, the flowers are almost saying goodbye, as their eternity is only on the canvas...like that of the painter.
