Mauve irises, fragile and delicate - soft ears of small living tissus-papier guards, posted along the garden path. Peter Parmes with offered pistils, floral magic captured by Max-Agostini in full bloom of this gateway to paradise for queenbees.
First sign of spring, a pointed spear, then a double mirror of an orchid, the lavender iris, a pale washed-out violet, poses proudly and the painter assembles his varied brushstrokes going from pale pinks to mauve magentas, whimming by lavender blues, approaching deep lilacs.
The history of Evolution: only Nature's transgenic genius is revealed in these heads (of stems) crowned by the genius of a painter.
